Canterbury Breastfeeding Support Group

The group is designed to offer you access to a breastfeeding specialist (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant), as well as an opportunity to meet other families.

The group is a safe space for you to ask questions, and it is designed for those seeking general information and support; either ongoing or as a one off, both during pregnancy, and after your baby is born.

Spaces are limited in order to ensure each family gets some time to speak with Hannah (IBCLC) during the session.

We aim to ensure you can have some 1:1 time with Hannah, but also an opportunity for group discussion with other parents to share ideas and experiences as you move through parenthood, and all it brings!

Booking ahead is advised, and the cost is £10 per adult, which includes a hot drink and a sweet treat provided by Oscar and Bentleys. Walk ins are welcome too!

You’re welcome to bring another adult from your household or family, we just ask you cover the cost of their refreshments which is £3 per head (payable on the day). Older children are welcome too.

No refunds will be available once spaces are booked, although swapping sessions is possible.

There is limited space to park prams/pushchairs so if possible please wear your baby in a sling or carrier.

Please do not attend if you have covid symptoms, or have had contact with anyone with covid in the last 14 days.
